The Global Fund for Forgotten People awarded a grant to the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Serbia on St John’s Day this year. The grant helped to improve the laundry facilities at the Izvor Centre for Children and allow the purchase of washing machines and dryers.
Ambassador Alberto di Luca presented the washing machines to Sister Glikerija, the Mother Superior. The nuns who run the home care for the girls with love and admirable dedication. Sister Glikerija expresses her gratitude to the Global Fund for Forgotten People and the Order of Malta and said “God always returns what is given!”.
