The project supports immigrants and refugees who are trying to reach Europe via the Mediterranean Sea, close to the Greek and Turkish coasts. These asylum seekers include people who have fled their country due to religious persecution, and people who are living in war and guerrilla areas, or living in famine and drought zones. This project takes place on a MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station) vessel providing immediate healthcare to immigrants and evaluating their physical and psychological health.
