The Primary Health Care Centre in Kefraya provides healthcare services to refugees, the elderly and the needy population of the region. In 2015, the Centre provided over 11,000 socio-medical acts (including medical consultations, cardiology, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry service, dietician service, vaccination, and imaging service). In 2016, a new Mobile Medical Unit will be operational in the West Bekaa Valley area to provide medical aid to the most remote villages. The grant will support the sustainability of the Primary Health Care Centre in Kefraya by enabling the purchase of new medical equipment and the building of parking spaces.
