The Permanent Observer Mission of the Order of Malta to the United Nations delivered a statement to the third committee of the General Assembly on October 7th, on the subject of social development, particularly with respect to the elderly and disabled.
In collaboration with the Global Fund for Forgotten People, Mr Nicola Tegoni, Counsellor to the Third Committee, provided details of two works of the Order, working with the elderly and the disabled, which have received regular support from the Global Fund for Forgotten People.
