After an earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck central Italy on Wednesday the Italian Relief Corps of the Order of Malta (CISOM) was among the first to respond, mobilising search dog units and health care teams for medevac and first aid. The French and German Associations of the Order of Malta have already committed resources and support for this effort.
The Order of Malta calls on members and friends of the Order of Malta to support the emergency response. The Order of Malta’s Global Fund for Forgotten People will channel donations received immediately and directly to the bodies of the Order active in the field.
