Healthcare for Immigrants, Lampedusa, Italy

The Order provides healthcare to immigrants and refugees who arrive in Italy from a treacherous, traumatic and dangerous journey from North Africa through the strait of Sicily.

CISOM’s operations serve about 13,000 people a year with a total budget of a quarter of a million.  The grant contributes to the travel costs of doctors to and from the island of Lampedusa.
