Nutritional Gardens, Togo and Benin

This project aims to empower women by providing the establishment of nutritional gardens within the local hospital, training in horticulture, nutrition and cooperative management.

The aim is to ensure sustainable food security and income. Direct beneficiaries are 40 mothers, 2 gardeners and 5 facilitators creating 250 indirect beneficiaries. The grant specifically covers the sinking of a well, training of facilitators and equipment. A successful pilot is already underway in Togo.
