On Friday 19 June, frontline representatives from Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine discussed the Order of Malta’s work in the Holy Land at the Global Fund for Forgotten People’s latest ‘Reports from the Frontline’ virtual conference.

HE Michele Bowe, the Order’s Representative to Palestine, described the effects of Bethlehem’s abrupt and total lockdown on Holy Family Hospital, while Lebanese Association President HE Marwan Sehnaoui and Communications Delegate Oumayma Farah inspired with an explanation of the unique role of the Order’s work in the region. HE Fayiz F Khouri, Ambassador of Jordan to the Order of Malta, and representatives from the Order’s Embassy to Jordan, shared insight on the social impact of Jordan’s refugee population, the effects of COVID-19, and the Order’s activities there.
