The Hungarian Maltese Relief Organisation (MMSZ) of the Order of Malta is currently providing humanitarian aid to the migrants and refugees trying to enter Hungary at points along the Serbian border. Families with small children are getting priority with the help of the Office of Immigration.
The Order of Malta in Hungary regularly provides health care assistance and distributes medicines, as well as food and drink, to the people in need. The MMSZis prepared for increasing numbers of refugees seeking new routes from Turkey to the European Union.
On the Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian borders, the MMSZ runs a mobile medical unit to provide medical help.
