Spotlight on the Refugee crisis – Slovakia

Malteser Aid Slovakia  is working with the Slovak Medicine University of St. Elisabeth to deliver  humanitarian material help to the refugee camp in Dobova, based on the Slovenian/Croatian border.

In order to secure this first delivery, Malteser Aid Slovakia purchased 30 pc. new field beds, interior equipment for the rescue tent (such as tables, chairs, etc.) as well as 500pc. one way night sets (pillow, cover, blanket). The delivery consisted also of other collected material and sponsored gifts, such as hundreds of tea boxes, bottled water, sweets, some winter clothes, as well as disinfection and medical material.

The Order of Malta in Slovakia has also delivered humanitarian and medical materials to a refugee camp in Alexandria, Greece.
