The Day Care Centre provides a positive environment for the elderly, with programs that enable them to be more active, independent, and take responsibility for their health and medical care. The facility improves their quality of life and encourages them to become active members of the community with dignity and security. Daily activities at the centre now include breakfast and lunch, prayer, cards and backgammon, with further outdoor activities planned. The Saint George Centre is now receiving around 1,200 elderly patients from 34 villages, and the PHC is receiving around 2,100 patients from around 150 villages.
