Julie Condon 1942 – 2021
The Fund was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Julie Condon this September. Julie, and her husband Tom, were founding Envoys of the Fund, amongst the first to understand the importance of our mission to support the Order of Malta’s work with the vulnerable and marginalised in all corners of the world. As a committed volunteer herself, Julie well understood the effectiveness of the Order’s work, often carried out by volunteers, always remaining close to the person in need.
Julie was a passionate supporter of the most vulnerable, leading many organisations, particularly within the Order of Malta both at home and abroad. As Envoys, Tom and Julie travelled to Prague, Paris, Palestine and the Asia Pacific to see the work of the Order their generosity helped bring to life. We remain inspired by her energy, her compassion and her great love for the forgotten. The Fund will always be grateful for the legacy of work the Condon family has made possible, and the generous donations we have received in Julie’s memory.
